About

Sean Luka Girgis

Founder, KloudPerformance LLC. Civil engineer turned enterprise technologist — 20+ years from C++ to capacity forecasting to AI automation.

The path

Born in Egypt in 1968 and trained as a civil engineer, Sean moved to Canada in 1995 and retrained in engineering technology at Humber College. He's been in IT since 1999 — and never in one lane for long.

The arc

  • Development: C/C++, databases, Java — learned how systems are built.
  • Performance testing & monitoring: learned how systems break — and how to prove it.
  • APM tools administration: CA Wily/APM enterprise rollouts (4,000–6,000 agents), then Dynatrace.
  • Capacity planning & telemetry (9 years): BMC TrueSight/TSCO, forecasting models, PySpark, AWS serverless data platforms.
  • AI automation: GenAI agents, LLM-driven workflow automation — the current obsession and the business.

Where he's been

  • Sprint — Kansas, 2001–2005
  • CenturyTel · AT&T — telecom operations
  • Computer Sciences Corp · IRS / Sabre — large-scale systems
  • TIAA-CREF — financial services monitoring
  • CA Technologies — APM subject-matter expert

Why KloudPerformance
